Join our detachment for The Walk of the World! Walk shoulder to shoulder with civilians and military personnel from around the world. Experience the broader camaraderie and esprit de corps and the appreciation of the spectators. And of course you will stay at Camp Heumensoord, together with military personnel from more than 25 countries. The 4Days Marches unites people.

On April 20, 1963, seven boys and three girls from the Episcopal College in Sittard, following the American example, walked the first Kennedy march in the Netherlands. Walking 80 km in 20 hours. A major achievement! The Kennedy Mars Sittard is therefore the oldest Kennedy March in the Netherlands. Nowadays, the Kennedy March Sittard takes place every year on the Saturday before Easter. Will you join us? Do you dare?

The Berne distance march is an event that is open to everyone who wants to participate. For many years, people from all over the world have registered for this extraordinary event.
Our march is held in the lovely regions of the canton of Bern.
The first edition of the “Marche de l’Armée” was held in 1968 with an award medal that commemorates the heroic battle of John the Blind, or John of Luxembourg, who was killed on the French side during the battle of CRECY (France), where he fought bravely notwithstanding his blindness.
