About

Nijmegen Bridge 4 Days March

JFC Brunssum Allied International Marching Team has been marching for over 45 years, proudly representing Joint Forces Command Brunssum (JFCBS).

Join us as we prepare to participate in The Walk of the World! Walk shoulder to shoulder with military personnel from around the world. Experience the broader camaraderie and esprit de corps.

At Camp Heumensoord, there is a beer tent where all teams report their completion of the days march. This video is from 2009 and provides an idea of the spirit of the event. Also, pay close attention at the end. The last song is the wake-up song played on camp at 0300.

Routes of 4 Days Marches

This day is also called Blue Tuesday. You walk north over the bridge over the River Waal into the beautiful Overbetuwe region, between the Waal and the Rhine. And in Elst everything turns water blue!

Day 1 Vier Daagse

Today is also known as Pink Wednesday. In the morning you head west through the beautiful Land van Maas en Waal region, walking through green polder landscapes and over the festively decorated market square of Wijchen. And then back to Nijmegen, where the whole town has turned pink!

Today is the ‘day of the seven hills’. You walk east along water and through woods until the famous green hills of Groesbeek loom before you. No need to be intimidated: the many thousands of spectators will cheer you on!

The day of Via Gladiola. You walk south, cross the pontoon bridge over the Meuse river that was built especially for you in Cuijk, and then on your way to your glorious entrance, and completion, at Via Gladiola!
